Bazaar Bizarre in Boston and LA on Sat Dec 16th

Hey Crafters! This Saturday is the very cool Bazaar Bizaare where we will be representin' at both the Boston and LA events. Come to Boston (The Cyclorama in the South End 1pm-7pm, $1 admission) to meet one of our editors Brian Sawyer and needlepoint and extrodinare, Kristina Pinto. In LA (Shrine Auditorium Expo, 700 West 32nd Street, 11am-7pm, $2 admission), Carla Sinclair, Mark Frauenfelder and myself will be there at the CRAFT table. Also, don't forget that Swap-O-Rama-Rama is a part of Bazaar Bizaare LA too! Link.

Etsy and Bazaar Bizarre also throwing a contest called "Upcycling" where the winner will receive airfare, hotel accommodations and a free booth at the next Bazaar Bizarre, inside our Maker Faire (May 19-20) in San Mateo, CA. From the site, "...upcycling is the practice of taking something that is disposable and transforming it into something of greater use and value. In this contest we challenge all Etsy users to create an object to sell on Etsy that is comprised of materials that would have otherwise ended up in the trash heap." Link.
